Florida Department of Health-Calhoun Rabid Raccoon Killed North of Blountstown Calhoun County – A raccoon killed north of Blountstown, has tested positive for rabies. The Florida Department of Health in Calhoun County would like to remind citizens that Florida law requires all dogs, cats, and ferrets over four months of age to be currently vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian.
