Promoting healthy lifestyles and helping people learn about the dangers of chronic disease is a key goal of The Florida Department of Health in Calhoun County. By enacting programs that focus on chronic disease and injury prevention, we seek to educate and inform the public regarding a variety of health topics including healthy living, diabetes prevention, heart disease, and stroke.
We teach classes and hold seminars, attend health events, and design and distribute materials to improve health outcomes in the community.
